With anticipation having reached its pinnacle, Britney Spears delivered as planned by releasing her latest music video "Criminal" at midnight on Tuesday (October 18).
The 29-year-old pop star messaged her faithful followers just hours prior to the video's debut, writing, "Excited for yall to see the Criminal video! Whose gonna stay up & watch on @iTunesMusic tonight at midnight EST? Brit "
The action-packed piece features Spears' manager beau Jason Trawick while having been shot in London, during which time she garnered plenty of criticism from the English bureaucrats for including the use of a gun while filming in one of the UK city's boroughs shortly after the August riots.
To go along with the "Criminal" video premiere, Britney also posted a string of messages accompanied with cover artwork.
With the five photos found below, Miss Spears' lineup of one-liners were as follows: "I just can't deny, love the guy…," "He's a bad boy with a tainted heart…," "Unpredictable..." and "Villain of the devil's law."
